Anyone can report a problem on a machine; maintenance triages it into a work order with tasks, parts and an owner. Machine-down work goes to the top and the downtime clock runs until the machine is back up.
A schedule that knows what production is doing
The board shows each machine's production operations from Business Central next to the maintenance that's due, and suggests slots where the machine is idle. Scheduled work reserves the time in BC's capacity calendar so planning sees it too.
